Blaine County Recreation District
Founded in 1976, the Blaine County Recreation District is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing Blaine County’s quality of life by creating healthy, active recreational opportunities for all. Bjorn To was founded in 2023 by a team of pro skiers and a carbon fiber specialist who wanted to develop a ski brand based on their experience and expertise. Headquartered in Washington state, the head office is in Winthrop, and factory is in Redmond. In 2020, Erik and Marine Bjornsen took over one of the largest nordic ski shops in the Pacific Northwest. During their time in the shop they quickly realized the need for a brand with modern style and top-level performance. Sohier Hall, a friend who heads up Ratio Made, a composite manufacturing company based in Redmond, Washington, was the perfect partner to make this dream a reality. After several years of development they launched Bjorn To in October of 2023.
